A selective listing of tools and templates for creating and presenting content inventories and audit deliverables.
Designed by a content strategist for content strategists, the Content Analysis Tool (CAT) automates content inventories and presents content data in a user-friendly dashboard view. Data gathered includes: full list of files (HTML pages, documents, audio, video, images, and others), metadata (title, description, keywords), H1 text, word count, analytics (pageviews, exit percentage, bounce rate), links in and out from each page, and a screenshot of each page. Users can also add custom columns to tag files with their own vocabulary terms and add free text notes. Data can also be exported to .csv. The tool is available in block and monthly options and a free trial is offered.
